Rachel Bonin, Business Manager

I was born just north of Boston, Massachusetts and am proud to say I married a Colorado native, my husband Garrett. We met on the east coast while my husband was in the Navy and I was finishing my accounting degree at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. We have called Colorado home for over twenty years and are the proud parents of Madeline & Samuel. On the weekends you will find us enjoying the beautiful weather at a baseball tournament or swim meet. I love being a part of the DCS Montessori team as the Business Manager.

Amphon Wild, Health & Office Assistant

My name is Am Wild. My love for working with children started when I was fifteen during my first summer job working at a daycare. I also worked as a camp counselor and a Sunday School teacher for many years. I earned an Elementary Education degree from California State Dominguez Hills and taught for the Long Beach Unified School District for seven years before making the difficult decision to become a full time “domestic engineer.” After 12 years in that role, I was delighted to return full time to an educational setting and love being part of DCS Montessori. It’s an honor to be working with such wonderful staff members and interacting with students. Although I am no longer in the classroom, I enjoy the opportunity to make a difference in our students’ lives on a daily basis.

My husband and I live in Castle Rock and have three grown children. Our oldest is currently serving in the Coast Guard and is stationed in Florida. Our middle child is attending the University of Idaho where he is studying Bio-Chem. Our youngest recently enlisted in the Coast Guard.

When not at work, my husband and I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, and road tripping.

Debbie Kirwin, Health & Office Assistant (Part-Time)

I have lived in Colorado for 20 years.  I am married with 2 adult boys.  I have 5 grandsons who keep me very busy.  I worked at DCS Montessori for 9 years in the front office as the Health Assistant and front office Assistant.  In 2014 I chose to resign and we moved to Evergreen, CO  to be a grandma and spend time with my 5 grandsons.  Shortly after moving to Evergreen my husband got news that we were being transferred to Houston for our 2nd time.   We moved back in 2020 to be with our family.   I so missed working at DCS Montessori that I decided to take my chances and see if I could return to doing what I love, working with the students, parents and my previous co-workers.   Fortunately I was able to return back to the front office working part-time with an amazing team of co-workers.

Brycie Strother, Registrar / Office Manager

I was born in New York ~ but my crazy parents decided to pack up and move to Honolulu, Hawaii when I was about 3 years old and I grew up there.  I’ve been in Colorado for 30+ years where my two daughters were born. Both of them attended DCS Montessori, which is how I was introduced to this wonderful school.

My job encompasses a number of duties including enrolling new students, posting news and other items to our website, writing The Roar newsletter, helping parents with their questions, and managing the After School Programs and Summer Camps.  My most favorite job is morning carpool – I love seeing our students’ smiling faces each morning and watching them joyfully head to their classrooms!  And I love greeting our many wonderful parents too!  Carpool and a cup of coffee – what a great way to start the day!
