PARENT EDUCATION TALK FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Raising Resilient Girls is a 1-hour talk followed by a 30 minute Q&A session for parents, teachers, and community members
Girls Leadership speaks to parents and teachers across the country about the challenges girls face today, the reasons why we see girls struggling, and what we can do to help them. In this acclaimed 1-hour talk (followed by a 30 minute Q&A), we share how to help girls practice assertive self-expression, emotional intelligence, and healthy relationships, preparing them for a life of personal and social leadership. This engaging presentation covers the development of girl dynamics beginning in preschool through high school.
As written up in Parents Magazine, this talk concentrates on practical advice that can be executed in a real-life setting, such as:
- Talking about your own not-so-happy feelings;
- Sharing your mistakes;
- Helping your daughter to solve her own problems;
- The Good Girl Phenomenon and conflict as an opportunity for positive change
This presentation is for adults only. Parents, Community Members, and Teachers from outside our school are welcome!

Re-Enrollment is COMING SOON
For All Students who will Re-Enroll at DCS Montessori for next School Year, look for an email on November 28th with details. You need do nothing until that time.
Please continue reading if you do not intend to return to our school next year.
Do you want to enroll your child [not presently a student at our school] next year?
Our Lottery deadline is November 30th. And YES, EVERY NEW STUDENT MUST APPLY VIA OUR LOTTERY – even siblings.
Current students do not enter the Lottery, they simply re-enroll and we will email you that information at the end of November.
Just FYI… This year we have had very little change to our enrollment. This means that there are still siblings on our wait lists hoping to be offered a spot this year. With the exception of 3-year-old Preschool, we are fully enrolled in all grades. Our suggestion is to enroll students at the Preschool level to ensure your child can continue enrollment into our Elementary grades.
Questions about enrollment? Please contact Brycie at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 720-531-3309.
